• An amount over $100,000 results in very severe penalties. While the others may warrant probation, suspended sentences, pardon, or release, that is not the case with a theft of this magnitude. The only leniency that may be granted is credit for time served.

If convicted of felony theft, the defendant may be sentenced to prison or jail and will be subject to supervised probation.
